Iron Flame is excited to announce its partnership with the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Chesapeake, located in Laurel, Maryland. IEC Chesapeake is the local chapter of the larger trade association, IEC, which assists electrical, low voltage, and renewable energy contracting companies. This partnership came after a referral from the DLLR, during efforts to build an apprenticeship for returning citizens associated with, Iron Flames preceding partner, Volunteers of America Chesapeake. IEC Chesapeake can support Iron Flame’s apprenticeship by providing resources such as training facilities and equipment. Through these partnerships Iron Flame hopes to create jobs for returning citizens and others in need of work in Baltimore and throughout Maryland.
